Improv Night

 

Due to an overwhelming desire, an impromptu improv night has been scheduled for next Saturday, the 20th at 7 p.m. at the Playhouse.  Please come out and have some fun! Spread the word!

You can just come to watch or you can participate. No admission charge. Enjoy a night with the Thespians at the 2nd Story Theater.

Welcome to a sneak peak of the Peninsula Players next production. Laura by Vera Caspary. To be performed on three successive weekends beginning with Friday May 29th. It a suspense thriller, romance and crime drama all in one. Come and enjoy.

Hey everybody, it is improv and open mike night this Saturday at 7. Bring your guitars, skits and jokes along with your acting ability for a fun night. You can just come to watch or you can participate. Enjoy a night with the Thespians at the 2nd Story Theater.

Peninsula Players  final presentation for the season is the Vera Caspary murder mystery “Laura”.

Beautiful Laura Hunt has been murdered and police detective, Mark McPherson, is becoming obsessed with her portrait and finds himself falling in love with the dead woman. In the course of his investigation, he meets Shelby Carpenter, the fiancé; Waldo Lydecker, the benefactor; and Danny Dorgan the boy downstairs who all loved Laura too. This mystery has many plot twists and turns and will keep you on the edge of your seat!

Performances are Fridays May 29, June 5 and 12; Saturdays May 30, June 6 and 13 (all at 7 p.m.) and Sundays May 31, June 7 and 14 (at 2 p.m.). Tickets will be available at the Imperial Schooner Restaurant (Port of Ilwaco), JT’s Cafe (Ilwaco), Stormin Norman’s (Long Beach), and Okie’s Thriftway (Ocean Park).

  • You’ll remember him from Annie Get Your Gun, Arsenic and Old Lace and Bullshot Crummond
  • He likes his part because he gets to “talk with a Brooklyn accent”.

Two special reasons to attend this weekend!

The gala opening of Give My Regards to Broadway is scheduled for Saturday, March 21.  Following the show will be complimentary snacks and beverages.  Mingle and mix with the cast and crew!

Opening Night features a special tribute to our Coast Guard Service Men who will be attending as honored guests.  That’s Friday, March 20th!

Friday and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
