On June 14th, the Ilwaco Nautical Renaissance will welcome the tall ship “Bounty”. This replica of the “Bounty” was built for the Marlon Brando film “Mutiny on the Bounty”. She will be berthed right behind the Imperial Schooner restaurant. Peninsula Players will be putting on a pancake feed for the “Bounty” crew and the general public as a fundraiser benefitting Peninsula Players building fund.
The pancake breakfast will be on June 14 & 15 at the Imperial Schooner. We will serve breakfast from 7:30am – 9:00 am. We will serve pancakes, ham, orange juice, coffee, tea, cocoa. Each item will be $1.00. (Crew of the ship are free). We urge you to come down and rub elbows with the “Bounty” crew, or even better, volunteer to be part of the serving crew!
All volunteers must have a food handlers card. Those of us who do not have one plan to go to the class on Tuesday, May 20. It is at the Transit bus garage in Seaview at 10am. Be there at 9:30 am with $10 CASH. Laurie will organize the event and order the food. Those wanting to help can contact Laurie or other board members.
